So let's talk about the strong parts of Tasogare Otome X Amnesia.

The strong elements within this anime is that the artstyle was fantastic. Since SHAFT Studio was famous for abusing insane art direction like no tomorrow. Plus, there's the director, Shin Oonuma.
The background art consists of evocative evening sunsets and night time where the stars blinkered with colours in the sky. It certainly fit for the romantic scenes. Contrast but equally dynamic to it, horror scenes, are directed with heavy atmosphere filled with insane arts.
The other thing which made me "like" this anime is the theme song for the opening. Choir Jail is the title for the opening song and Calindier for the ending song.
Choir Jail fits perfectly for the whole theme of the story where burning passion for love can overcome any boundaries, including death apparently.
On the other hand, Calindier was sung by Yuuko (seemingly) at the end gives off the melancholy feels of the story. So good job on the theme songs and soundtracks 'cause I friggin' love the insert song Requiem.

Now it's time to talk about the down parts. . .
So one of 'em was the comedy root. Jumping from dramatic scene, to fanservice, then the risque. I could hardly blame them cause it seemed that they tried to do almost EVERYTHING on this anime. Spoils everywhere.
Weak links is also a downer in this series. The most obvious part was in a particular scene within episode 8 which could have been a very dramatic scene.
Thematic call-back is present, however, to close it with a boob-grab? I never confessed my love like that. There's some twisted way of directing there guys. . .
When Teiichi and Yuuko were together, it's almost inevitable that risque would've happen. Some scenes should've been saved to prevent total flop in the drama.
And how could a boob grab symbolizes Yuuko's desire to feel warmth of others?
Of course, if you're an ecchi-comedy fan, you'll definitely love this.
So for a scale of 1-5, I think I would give it a 3.
